NES

The title screen is much more basic compared to the original game. Whereas the original game's title screen had an animation of Felix popping out of his magic bag and copyright information, the Mega Drive version just has a static image of Felix and no copyright information. There is also a selection for an options screen.

The opening sequence shows an animated sequence of Felix receiving a call from the Professor in the original game. In this version, it's a static image. All other cutscenes have been removed.

The Game Over screen, meanwhile, is a notoriously graphic still image of Felix ripping his head apart and exposing his skull. The original game shows an animated sequence of Felix being kicked into a back alley.
