The MZ-2000 is a Japanese home computer released by Sharp in 1982. It is an upgrade of the MZ-80B which originally released in 1981. The MZ-2200 released in 1983 which dropped the built-in monitor. This was followed in 1985 by the MZ-2500 which offered a significant increase in hardware capabilities whilst retaining backwards compatibility with the MZ-2000 and MZ-80B.
