Zhu Zhu Pets (ズーズーペット), originally known as Go Go Pets, is a range of robotic toys produced by American toy company Cepia LLC. The range consists of a range of battery-operated hamsters that can move on their own, interact with accessories, and coo/purr when pressed/stroked. Sega Toys held the licensing rights to the toy in Asian territories and self-distributed them in Japan.

Features

Zhu Zhu Pets have three different forms of functionality, corresponding with three buttons on the toy. The toy will spurt out a series of pre-recorded lines when its nose is pressed and will start to coo when pressing the front of its head. When their back is pressed (with their chosen symbol on it), the toy will begin to move around on the floor as it spins and explores the area. The toy will also interact with compatible accessories made for the range, such as a Fun House and a slide.
