B-Bomb is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game developed by Sega Technical Institute and scheduled to be published by Sega of America around 1993 or 1994. Despite active press coverage and a prominent appearance at Summer CES 1992, it was ultimately cancelled for unknown reasons, although artwork from the project was later reused for further Sega Technical Institute projects.

Both Sega Technical Institute's Brenda Ross[2] and Tom Payne are known to have worked on this project as artists,[3] with some of B-Bomb's artwork being recycled from the scrapped Sonic 2 stage, Genocide City Zone. Later, assets from B-Bomb itself were recycled for use in the Sonic Spinball stage The Machine, with this artwork actually reaching store shelves.
Prerelease
B-Bomb was shown off at Summer CES 1992, where a large cardboard cutout of Barker Bulldog was displayed beside Sonic the Hedgehog. While it is known the game was demonstrated at the show, one existing photograph appears to indicate it may have had a dedicated booth as well.
