McDonald's de Asobo! (マクドナルドであそぼ!) is a Sega Pico game released by Sega Toys in 2000. It is a simple restaurant management simulator, which although is sponsored by the American fast-food chain McDonald's, was only released in Japan. McDonald's de Asobo! is suspected to have originally shipped with plastic toys of Big Macs and cartons of fries - this may describe a separate release of the game, or the only release - full details are currently unknown.
Despite its unusual themes, McDonald's de Asobo! it is not the only game of its type - 2001 saw the release of McDonalds Monogatari Honobono Tenchou Ikusei Game for the Game Boy Color (published by TDK) which has similar goals. A Hello Kitty themed version would see a release on the Pico in 2001 as Hello Kitty to McDonald de Asobo!, and a PC adaption, Paso Pico McDonald's de Asobo! was also released in that year. McDonald's de Asobo! was also re-released as part of the Sega Pico 10th anniversary range in 2003.
