Ultimate Soccer is a football game developed by Rage Software (who specialised in sports games) and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive, Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear. It is one of many football games released for these systems, though this one was exclusive to Europe and Brazil. It was followed by the Striker series of games, starting with a Mega Drive game with the same name.

The game contains a number of national teams to play as, though uses made-up names for the players, presumably due to licensing issues. It also contains numerous Sonic the Hedgehog cameos.
