Performance was a video game accessory brand name owned by Recoton. It was a label given to products built by Recoton's manufacturing division, STD Manufacturing (which held the Performance trademark). It was likely a sub-brand of InterAct similar to the GameShark line, though the reason why some accessories received Performance branding instead of InterAct's is not yet clear. InterAct's website housed information on Performance products.
Many accessories were released with Performance branding during the 1990s and early 2000s. When Recoton declared bankruptcy in 2001, the Performance brand became extinct.
