Cross Fire

From Sega Retro

Does anyone recognize the logo on the bottom of the title screen? It's only in the US version... - Andlabs 13:18, 7 April 2011 (CDT)

That would be A.I. Co., Ltd - the developer -Black Squirrel 13:41, 7 April 2011 (CDT)
That's interesting — they don't credit themselves at all with that game on their site (or any game on any Sega system for that matter); the logo is only on the US version... maybe they were just responsible for US publication? End credits? - Andlabs 13:47, 7 April 2011 (CDT)
...it appears to be one of those games that just ends with no credits roll; just some text..., ugh. (I have to confirm this because the only video of the ending I could find skips from the last cutscene to the wall of text) - Andlabs 13:53, 7 April 2011 (CDT)
Publication in the US was apparently handled by Kyugo's American arm, "Kyugo of America". A.I., from what I gather, are developers. Supposedly Wrath of the Black Manta has a similar story, being developed by A.I. and published by Kyugo (though this is even more awkard because Taito published it too).
Don't forget - even in the early 1990s publishers weren't always fans of crediting their developers. They may have hired some external company to do the sound for example. -Black Squirrel 14:07, 7 April 2011 (CDT)
Fair enough, I guess =P - Andlabs 15:33, 7 April 2011 (CDT)
