I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, is a point-and-click computer game based on the novel of the same name by Harlan Ellison.
Release
The game was published by Cyberdreams in October 31, 1995 for PCs with MS-DOS and Mac OS.
Mega CD version
Early in the development cycle, there seemed to be plans to release the game on the Mega CD in late 1995 alongside two other Mega CD titles, Darkseed II and Hunters of the Ralk. none of these titles ever saw a Mega CD release. (with the latter never being released on any other system either.) A PlayStation version was planned to be released in the summer of 1995, but was also cancelled.
