United States vs. North America

What is supposed to be the standard term for releases in the United States/North America? Is it "North America" like I've seen on many anniversary pages here, or "United States" like it is on Sonic Retro? --SorachiJirachi (talk) 16:00, 20 April 2019 (EDT)

"North America" is probably the better plan (though obviously it depends on the release). The inconsistencies will be down to pages being written on different days of the week.

The problem with North America is it includes Mexico, and I can't confidently say it gets its video games on the same date as the rest of the continent. But it might do. It's all Sega of America territory. -Black Squirrel (talk) 16:28, 20 April 2019 (EDT)
