Front Fareast Industrial Corporation, was a hardware and video game development company, founded in 1983 by Taiwanese businessman Meng-Ming Liu from New Taipei City.
Established during the early stages of the information industry in Taiwan, the company started as an exclusive distributor of Acer's Microprofessor III computer, one of the first wikipedia:Apple IIe clones and in 1984, shifting to video game development, the company became the official game developer for it.
From 1986 to 1995, the company focused in the production of peripheral parts for computers and video game consoles developing in the meantime the "infamous" copiers Super Magic Drive for the Sega Mega Drive and its counterpart the Super Wild Card for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
Still in 1995, the company returned to video game development, this time as a 3D/VR game developer, focusing primarily in the market of 3D PC gaming joining Microsoft in Direct X beta testing and in December 1997 releases its first two games Date With an Angel and Final Racing: Cyberspace 2001 and in 1998 after impressing government officials, research departments, and theme park representatives with its "6-axle oil pressure Motion Simulator" prototype for VR entertainment, at the Taipei Computer Software Exhibit, held from April 29 to May 3, the company receives from the Funds Planning Committee of the Taiwanese Institute for Information Industry a total of 1,000,000 New Taiwan dollars on a 5 year software development plan in improving the VR motion simulator and developing Final Racing SE, the first game for it.
In January 2000 the company releases Cyber Groove, the first interactive dancing game released for the PC.
