Victor Leslie was the first president of Sega Europe.
A former taxi driver and arcade machine operator, Leslie became president of Sega Europe following a trip to Tokyo, where he approached directors at Sega Enterprises and told them that they needed a local operation in Europe. He was handed the role and then set up an office in London in the 1980s.
Leslie died on Sunday the 8th of September, 2002[1] of asphyxia; following being stung on the tongue by a wasp at a family BBQ. He was 57.
