Mega 6 Volume 3 is a compilation of Sega Mega Drive/Genesis games released in 1995, during the console's decline. The cartridge contains 6 of Sega's most successful games from the early days of the Genesis; Sega Soccer, Super Monaco GP, Columns, Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Streets of Rage. The game came with individual instruction manuals for each game rather than integrating them all into a single manual.
Mega Games 6 Volume 1 & 2
There was also two volumes of Mega 6 which preceeded this game, but they went under an extended name, Mega Games 6. Volume 1 included the games World Cup, Alien Storm, Super Monaco, Super Thunderblade, Super Hang-On, and Columns. Volume 2 included the games World Cup, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, The Revenge of Shinobi, Super Hang-On, and Columns.
This compilation series was similar to Sonic Classics, and even shares the same game selection screen.
