Monaco Grand Prix is a formula one racing game by Ubisoft, released for the Sega Dreamcast as a launch title for the console in the US and Europe, though can also be found on other consoles.
It is an awkwardly named game - it is a sequel to the PC game F1 Racing Simulation (later known as Racing Simulation 1). In Japan and mainland Europe it is known as Monaco Grand Prix: Racing Simulation 2, indicating it is a direct sequel. However, this excludes the United Kingdom, which knows the game as Racing Simulation: Monaco Grand Prix, and Germany, which knows it as Racing Simulation 2. In the Americas, it is merely Monaco Grand Prix.
The game was re-released in Europe 2001 with the addition of online play. This version is officially known as Racing Simulation 2: Monaco Grand Prix On-line in all countries which sold it.
