Localisation comparisons
A lawsuit between EA and ESPN meant that EASN branding was replaced with EA Sports in 1993. The Japanese version, released later, reflects this change in the introduction.

More EASN references were replaced in the menus, and the palette was altered. Several words have also been changed, likely to make it easier to understand.
Commentator Bing Gordon has been replaced by Ron Barr in the Japanese version, and the text is in Japanese.
