Seevend GmbH was a West German arcade video game distributor.
Company
Seevend became exclusive distributors of Sega arcade equipment in West Germany around October 1970. At the time, Seevend held similar contracts with Williams and Chicago Coin. Missile may have been the first game to be distributed by the company.
Seevend was a West German subsiduary of Seeburg Corporation. Their history is not entirely clear, as while Seeburg was acquired by Stern in 1979, the brand was still in use during the 1980s. The Seevend brand can be seen on Zaxxon cabinets in the country, although it is thought the physical manufacturing may have been handled by Italian firm Zaccaria with distribution by NSM Löwen.
