Many of these unlicensed Korean games that SMS Power keeps coming across are just ports of arcade games, so we're going to wind up with lots of pages for seemingly official games that are actually unlicensed. I don't know if this is a cause for concern, though...

There's also a bonus that the latest set includes Xyzolog, a Taito game, but it actually has Taito's name and copyright... I don't know if the logo shown is their actual logo but I asked :/ It does say "Push Space Key" so I'm guessing it's a bona fide pirate for once

Majority of those games actually stem from the MSX, not the arcade (aside from the arcade ports to the MSX). And they're literally just straight ports.
It's tedious because yeah, technically we'll be covering an entirely different system (MSX) rather than the SG-1000 or Master System but at the same time... it needs to be done for Sega Retro to be "complete". Also copyright rules were really weird in Korea and Taiwan back in the day - there's always the chance this stuff was commissioned by Sega (especially the Hi Com stuff). It's unlicensed but not technically "illegal". On the plus side... there's probably not that many left. -Black Squirrel 16:07, 9 February 2012 (CST)
