Romstar was an American video game distributor and former branch of SNK, known for distributing Sega's Flashgal and Time Soldiers to American arcades.
History
Romstar was founded in 1984 by Takahito Yasuki as the American branch of SNK. Despite being established to distribute the company's own games, Romstar also found itself distributing games for Sega, Taito, Capcom, Toaplan, Data East, and Seta.
