Mickey Mouse: Private Eye is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game produced by Designer Software and starring Mickey Mouse in the role of a private investigator. Scheduled to be published by Hi-Tech Expressions around 1994, the game never left the planning and concept phase, and was ultimately left undeveloped.

History

A Game Boy version was planned to launch alongside the Mega Drive original, but was also cancelled.[2]

Legacy

About five years after the cancellation of Mickey Mouse: Private Eye, Disney Software would begin a similar project under the name P.I. Mickey. Intended to be released in an episodic format, development began in June 1999, but was also left unreleased.[3]
