Hyenas is a unreleased first-person shooter developed by Creative Assembly. While developed over the course of several years, promoted by publishers Sega and even put out for beta testing, the project was cancelled in September 2023 alongside some "unannounced titles" due to "lower profitability of the European region"[1].
Hyenas was set to be a multi-platform release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Steam and Epic Games Store.

History
Hyenas had its first Alpha test on December 2, 2022 at 1PM PST/4PM EST and ran until the same time on December 4, 2022.[2] The game's first Beta test began at 3PM BST on August 31, 2023 and ran until 9AM BST on September 11, 2023[3] until it was extended to September 15, 2023.[4] Both were held through Steam.
Coming from a team known for producing Total War games, Hyenas' development was cited as "challenging", having likely been delayed from the original launch plans.
On September 28, 2023, Sega put out a press release that game had been canceled.[1]
