Dark Empires is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game developed by Sega Technical Institute. It was set to be a fantasy turn-based strategy game, known to be in development in late 1991.
History
In a 2020 YouTube comment on his video resume, Sega Technical Institute artist Craig Stitt recalls that Dark Empires had reached a "first-playable" point in development, but that the project did not last much longer. He also stated that he still has a copy of the game's ROM.[1]
