Acclaim Studios Cheltenham was a British video game developer owned by Acclaim Entertainment, and was founded in April 2000 by former employees of Psygnosis. The studio was essentually the de-facto replacement to Acclaim Studios London, as they took over the development of IPs formerly created by the London studio, including Extreme-G and sequels to Re-Volt.
In 2001, with Acclaim purchasing publishing rights to release a small number of other Sega titles on the PlayStation 2, Acclaim Studios Cheltenham was commissioned to port Crazy Taxi and 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker to the system, alongside the Nintendo GameCube as well.
The studio closed in August 2004, among Acclaim's financial difficulties and eventual bankruptcy.
