Game Over was a UK television show featuring video games, which aired on the short-lived technology channel .tv. It was a cost-reduced replacement for Games World, of which a shorter, magazine-style format had aired on .tv in the years prior (under its original name "The Computer Channel").
The history of Game Over is not fully understood, though was on air in 2000, sheduled on Thursdays at 7:30 as part of .tv's dedicated video game day. .tv closed in September 2001, with all original programming being shelved alongside it.
