Zero Fire: Toaplan Arcade Garage (ゼロファイアー -TOAPLAN ARCADE GARAGE-) is a compilation of shooting games from Toaplan made by M2 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, released as part of the Toaplan Arcade Garage series under the M2 Shot Triggers label. It includes the Arcade versions of Zero Wing and Hellfire. The physical version of the compilation also includes several console versions of the first two games as a bonus plus the Arcade game Horror Story (known as Demon's World outside Japan), although the digital versions only offers them as a paid DLC bundle. It was originally released in 2023, only in Japan.
The Sega Mega Drive versions of Zero Wing (both European and Japanese variants) and Hellfire (American and Japanese variants, previously co-owned by Toaplan and Masaya and now co-owned by Tatsujin and Extreme) is included within the compilation. The Sega logo was keep intact in the ROMs, as well the inclusion of the "Mega Drive" and "Genesis" logos in their regional box arts available to see in Visual Gallery option.
Zero Fire: Toaplan Arcade Garage also marks the first time M2 included games previously published by NEC Avenue on PC Engine and CD-ROM² systems after buying them from Lightweight, the owner of Interchannel IPs, in July 2023[3]. As a result, M2 owns the publishing rights of Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier for the PC Engine, as seen in certain GameCenter CX episodes[4].
