D. D. Crew (D.D.クルー) is a 1991 arcade beat-'em-up for Sega System 18 hardware by Sega AM3. Two-player, three-player, and four-player cabinet versions exist, though any number of players up to the limit can play. In the game, you play as one of four brawlers who wreak vengeance on some psycho who blew up an amusement park and infested it with his cronies by killing them off. One button attacks, another jumps (the System 18 supports a third button but whether or not it is used is unknown).
The origin of the game's name is disputed. Some sources claim it was named after the phrase Don Don Kuruu (どんどん来るー), meaning "More and more are coming"[3], while others claim it is short for Dynamite Demolition Crew[4]. What is certain is that name was created by game designer Hisaki Nimiya[4].
