Princess Fighter is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive fighting game developed and scheduled to be published by Samsung. Originally planned for a South Korean 1993/1994 release alongside the equally-unreleased City Heroes, issues with South Korea's then-new software censorship laws had caused Samsung to cancel their console game development projects, and both games ultimately went unpublished.[1]

Gameplay

Princess Fighter is a one-on-one fighting game for one to two players.[1]

History

Development

Princess Fighter was originally planned to be co-developed by both Samsung's Uzu Keobukseon team and an unnamed Japanese game developer. However, the Japanese developer eventually left the project, and along with recently-introduced South Korea software censorship laws, eventually caused Samsung to disband its in-house console development. Princess Fighter (along with City Heroes) would ultimately go unreleased, with the fighter likely left entirely undeveloped or partially-complete.[1]
