Sega Vintage Collection

From Sega Retro

technically the Sega Vintage stuff dates back to at least 2007 - all the Mega Drive Sonic titles on XBLA have the Sega Vintage branding. They're just probably named wrongly on Sonic Retro.

There's Golden Axe and Streets of Rage games in this series too, just that nobody took any notice until an English Monster World IV made the news. So yeah - if it's a Mega Drive game on XBLA (and maybe PSN) it'll be part of this series -Black Squirrel 10:40, 4 April 2012 (CDT)

Yeah and another thing - many of these ports were done by Backbone Entertainment for (presumably) Sega of America. So rather than be Sega Ages Online games being localised, it'll likely be the other way around - the west supplying Japan, as opposed to the stuff by Rutubo Games which was Japan supplying the west -Black Squirrel 11:04, 4 April 2012 (CDT)
Not having XBLA, I didn't know that... As for Sega Vintage coming first and this being Backbone-produced, we'd have to wait and see when the games do get released, as they're still not out yet. I was going to say split the pages but I guess that can wait a bit - Andlabs 11:06, 4 April 2012 (CDT)
