Decimator is a horizontal scrolling shoot'em up, set on Earth where the player must defeat waves of unnamed aliens while protecting people on the ground. Decimator was heavily inspired by the arcade game Defender.
Decimator is featured on the SC-3000 Survivors Multicart MkII.
Plot
It is the year 2210. Again Earth is under attack from a hostile race of aliens of a far-off galaxy. In the year 2200, Earth faced a similar threat from these unknown enemies, their objectives unknown.
But the people of Earth learned from the 2200 invasion, and sought to reconstruct the ruins of the planet, entrusting their future in a fleet of highly sophisticated space fighters the key to the defense network set up to defend against future invasion.
Code-named 'Decimator', you have been chosen to pilot the fleet against the aliens in an attempt to destroy this new threat to the Earth and safe-guard the future of mankind.
