The Ferie (フェリエ) series is a set personal organisers for kids. Three models were released.

Hardware

Technical Specifications

  • CPU: Toshiba T6A84 (Zilog Z80 clone)
  • On-Chip RAM: 32KB (Sony CXK58257AM-10L)
  • On-Chip ROM: 1MB (MPR-17062-T for Ferie; MPR-18080A for Ferie World Travel)
  • Both chips are based on MPR-18201-S found on Game Gear cartridges
  • Graphics: Toshiba T6A04 (Ferie Puppy)
  • Touchpad driver: Sega 315-5832 (Ferie); Sega 315-5889 (Ferie World Travel)

The CPU, RAM and ROM ICs for Ferie Puppy are exposed directly into the board itself.

Legacy

Preliminary emulation support was been added to all three models of Ferie in MAME since version 0.272[2].
