Ms. Sugio's notability

This is something I've always wondered about since I first saw this photograph. Almost every other photo of the tour shows Michael with someone notable (and that we can pin a name to), except for this one. Which makes me think Ms. Sugio might be more notable that we at first thought.

So I can't find anything on her, and granted out of all company staff, a receptionist role would be far from actual software development. However, she wasn't just any staff. She was the face of the front desk, and that's a big thing in Japan. She -was- the front desk. So for now I'm leaving her untagged because there wouldn't be an article/any information to tie her to. But eventually, I do want to revisit this. While we generally shouldn't be creating articles on people who are this separated from the end-Sega-product, I think this case may just be notable. Her name might not be tied to games, but she was a key part of what made this company its money (in a small way, as most staff are). Again, I'll still be doing more thinking on this, but I think Ms. Sugio just slips into the notability category (and she's got a name too.)

Also I won't be putting up an image tag now because we don't know her full name. Which is fine in the case of aliases and stuff, but have we ever had an article where we don't know the person's full name? Like we have some but not all of it? I don't know. Obviously this doesn't need to move anywhere now, but I wanted to put my thoughts out on it for possible future research. CartridgeCulture (talk) 21:49, 14 November 2021 (EST)
