The Mega Drive version of Hardcore is known to have been "99% completed", but was cancelled when publisher Psygnosis cancelled all of its Mega Drive project. Digitial Illusions (now known as DICE) have been keen for many years to see this game released in some form, even entering discussions with Sony (who now owns Psygnosis) in 2010, which appear to have gone nowhere.
The Mega-CD version was never completed - its development status unknown before being pulled.
