Hardcore 4x4, known briefly in North America as TNN Motor Sports Hardcore 4x4 and known as Deka Yonku: Tough the Truck (デカ四駆 タフ ザ トラック) in Japan, is an off-road racing game developed for the Sega Saturn by Gremlin Interactive. During development it was known as Gears and Guts.
Though very dated by today's standards Hardcore 4x4 was one of the first fully 3D off-road racing/driving games to feature realistic physics, with each vehicle having independent suspension. There is also a running commentary.
The TNN Motor Sports license has been dropped in later re-releases of the game.
