The "1992" build of Instruments of Chaos Starring Young Indiana Jones is an early prototype of Instruments of Chaos Starring Young Indiana Jones for the Sega Mega Drive. It was created before the final name was settled, so identifies itself as both Young Indiana Jones and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. The exact build date is not known; the ROM header claims November 1992, however very similar (if not identical) builds were shown at Summer CES 1992 many months prior.

This is a very early build of the game, only featuring two acts of the India stage, both of which are very empty. The second act has palette issues and cannot be completed.
