Magic Jewelry II is a puzzle game, developed by Hwang Shinwei and published by RCM Group for the Family Computer in 1991, only in Asia, without permission of Nintendo. It is a sequel to Magic Jewelry and as with the original, it is an unlicensed clone of Columns for the system. Magic Jewelry II does a major overhaul improvement of the first game, featuring elements such as new title screen, built-in game instructions, level selection, jewel swap, the ability to play without music and the Flash mode found in home console versions of Columns. Support with simultaneous 2 player games were also added.
Along with many improvements, Magic Jewelry II did not manage to be popular as the first game, as it is not found often in multi-carts or included as a built-in game in many Famiclones.
As with its prequel, Magic Jewelry II features a music cover from the first stage of Altered Beast, played on Level 003.
