With space for one million 10SIX players, there's bound to be somebody out there!

SAN FRANCISCO (February 11, 2000) - Just in time for Valentine's Day, HEAT.NET, the world's largest core online gaming community, has solved the classic dilemma facing the serious gamer: How to actually meet someone without putting down your joystick and missing out on the best multiplayer action-strategy gaming this side of paradise. The solution is 10SIX, the massively multi-player, persistent world game, available exclusively on HEAT.NET.

Now in its final stages of beta-testing, 10SIX is the world's first million-player game that combines the best of a first-person shooter with a complex and compelling real-time strategy game. 10SIX is a persistent universe where the action is non-stop. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 10SIX is a place where weapons and gear are bought and sold, where strategic defense alliances are formed, and maybe, just maybe, romance takes root and blossoms.

"If you're a core gamer looking to meet your match, you could do a whole lot worse than checking out 10SIX this Valentine's Day," said Al Rivera, Producer, 10SIX. "This is no dating game, but it's got to be a lot more fun than hanging out in the chat room of the dateless and desperate." Since the opening of the10SIX beta last November, more than 50,000 players have registered for the ongoing battle among four competing corporations, each of which is bent on exerting total domination over the futuristic planet and its energy resources. Beta-testers have each played about 3 hours per day since the beta period began. Beta testers can continue to sign up for free at www.10six.com.

10Six is expected to go live within the next few weeks. Once the title goes live, players will be able to download the game on the 10SIX channel at HEAT.NET for $9.95 for one month, $25.95 for three months or $49.95 for six months of continuous 10SIX gameplay. Ongoing updates and many new features will be added frequently to improve players' 10SIX experiences.
