HEAT.NET ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF 10SIX

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (Feb. 28, 2000) - HEAT.NET, the world's largest core online gaming community, announced today the highly anticipated release of 10SIX, the only massively multi-player game for action-strategy gamers. After years of intense development and a widely successful beta, 10SIX is ready for launch. Gamers can take advantage of a seven day free trial period by downloading the game at www.10six.com.

10SIX combines the very best of the first person shooter and real time strategy genres, all while operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's a world where weapons and equipment are bought, sold and traded. A massive war effort is officially launched between four competing corporations and everyone will struggle to survive even when players are not signed on. "It's been exciting to see the beta grow. Now the game is in full form and ready to show off," said Al Rivera, Producer, 10SIX. "Now that the game is live, the development team can work on creating new weapons, activities and challenges within the game and between players in the individual corporations and Mutual Defense Networks."

Since opening the beta to the public in November, more than 60,000 players have been sharpening their 10SIX survival-of-the-fittest skills. "10SIX gives a dog-eat-dog world a whole new meaning," says David Blake, a 10SIX beta tester. " I can't wait to get my empire up and running so I can recruit other players to help build and conquer the planet. It's a killer game with great graphics and action, everyone should log on and check it out."

Players will be able to download the game on the 10SIX channel at HEAT.NET for $9.95 for one month, $25.95 for three months or $49.95 for six months of continuous 10SIX gameplay. Ongoing updates and many new features will be added frequently to enhance the experience. Gamers are invited to sign up to play 10SIX today. In order to play, register at www.10six.com.
