Police arrested the local representative of an international slot machine organization and accused him of operating pinball machines here without a license.

Korwin Hailey, 41, was released on bail after being booked on suspicion of participating in proceeds of gambling devices without a municipal gaming license.

Police took him into custody on a complaint signed by license inspector Howard Crow. Detectives said Hailey is connected with a firm called Service Games, which gets the major portion of its business by putting slot machines in overseas military posts.

Hailey's machines were rented to a downtown hotel, official said.
