MIAMI, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of a record setting Christmas season which saw all supplies of Active Enterprises Ltd.'s "Action 52", 52 games in one eight-bit video game cartridge for the NES completely sold out by Dec. 10, Active is now leaping ahead with another major new release at the January Consumer Electronics Show.

The totally new 16-bit "Action 52" video game cartridge is compatible for play on the 16-bit Sega Genesis system. This new cartridge is the very first multi-game cartridge on the market designed for play on the Sega Genesis system. This release follows the success of the company's original NES eight-bit version of Action 52 for the Nintendo, but now takes full advantage of the 16-bit system with newly designed graphics and sound.

Active Enterprises Ltd. is one of the brightest and most promising of new companies in the video game industry today. By producing products with the consumer in mind they are carving a niche in the industry which will surely lead to benefits for the consumer as well as the company itself. Active Enterprises can be seen at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show in Booth No. 6527.
