CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 1995--T-HQ Inc. (NASDAQ:TOYH) Monday announced that the company will publish "PGA Tour Golf III" for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Nintendo Game Boy and Sega Game Gear -- a conversion of an Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) top-selling Sega 16-bit title.

"PGA Tour Golf Tour III" becomes the ninth Electronic Arts/EA SPORTS title in T-HQ's 1995 product line, including "FIFA International Soccer '95, "NHL Hockey '95," "PGA EUROPEAN TOUR," "Shaq-Fu," "Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City," "Desert Strike," "Jungle Strike" and "Urban Strike" -- a total of 17 products on Super Nintendo, Nintendo Game Boy and Sega Game Gear platforms -- to be published throughout the year.

Also part of the company's current 1995 product release schedule are Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis versions of "seaQuest DSV," "BASS Masters Classic" and "The Mask," to be released by T-HQ in the first and second quarters of this year.

"T-HQ will deliver to retailers and consumers alike our strongest line of quality entertainment software to date," said Brian Farrell, T-HQ's new president and chief executive officer. "We still see demand for premier 16-bit and portable gaming titles while the entertainment software market expands over the next year and a half to include the `next-generation' gaming systems and software."
