LOS ANGELES, May 16, 1996 -- Critics and gamers around the world are raving about Fox Interactive's DIE HARD TRILOGY, the most explosive game ever to blast off a video screen. Experts agree that one game is never enough and this blockbuster -- which packs three distinctly different adventures on one amazing disc -- is THE must-have action-adventure game for 1996.

DIE HARD GAME FAN -- "The visual effects are insane..."

EGM -- "All the mayhem and action you've come to expect... excellent attention to detail."

GAME INFORMER -- "Fox Interactive has done the impossible ...everything you want is here."

VIDEO GAMES -- 10 out of 10 rating. "So amazing that every PlayStation owner on God's Earth will undoubtedly buy it."

You're at the center of three totally different, thrill-packed adventures playing John McClane (a cop with a habit of being barefoot in the wrong place at the wrong time) as he takes on a highly trained team of international terrorists. It's non-stop action with any adventure you choose, each delivering amazing depth, palm-sweating realism and detail packed into 40 levels. First, put your search and destroy skills to work as you fight and shoot your way through a high-rise wired to explode in DIE HARD. Then, use your best marksmanship to gun down terrorists in a besieged airport in DIE HARDER. And in DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE, drive above, below and through a crowded city besieged with hidden bombs in a race that challenges your most "offensive" driving skills.

For even more true-to-life action, gamers can use next-generation targeting peripherals and steering wheels to make the DIE HARD experience complete.

"Early indicators show that DIE HARD TRILOGY will be this season's hottest title. Editorial coverage and reviews have been overwhelmingly positive and retailer response has been very enthusiastic," said Jon Richmond, president, Fox Interactive. "We've also received incredible industry support from Sega and Sony, who are as excited about this title as we are."

DIE HARD
The first adventure -- DIE HARD -- puts you inside Nakatomi Plaza, a Los Angeles skyscraper on the brink of obliteration, for an intense search and rescue mission. The battle begins down in the parking garage as you make your way up, floor-by-floor, to the penthouse through more than a dozen distinctive game play levels -- searching hallways, office suites, even a grand ballroom. Throughout your quest, you discover hidden bombs and collect grenades and machine guns to build your arsenal of weapons.

With the clock ticking away, a directional sight helps you spot evil gunmen while you locate the hostages, who are bound and gagged throughout the high-rise. An over-the-shoulder perspective puts you right where the action is while an exclusive "obstacle fade-out" feature ensures that John McClane is never blocked from your view as he moves past walls, posts or doors. Will innocent lives be saved or will bodies be blown to oblivion as Nakatomi Plaza is wired to explode. It's up to you to keep Los Angeles real estate from literally blowing sky high.

DIE HARDER
The second adventure takes you inside Washington/Dulles Airport for a fast moving, first-person perspective, arcade-style action shooter using motion capture technology and incredible real time special effects. There's no time to check in your bags as danger comes at you from every angle in a detailed airport terminal overrun by armed terrorists. You'll earn points faster than frequent flyer miles as you obliterate enemies all over the concourse, in the baggage claim area and even in the Duty Free Shop.

The chase continues outside on the icy runway and the surrounding Virginia countryside in high-speed snowmobiles. Avoid traps and the enemy because if you get in the line of fire, your vision will "literally blur" as the screen momentarily loses focus. The action comes to a climax with a high speed helicopter pursuit. Can you save the airport with rapid-fire speed or will this be a first-class ticket to one-way annihilation?

DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE
Third time's a charm in DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE, a high-speed urban driving adventure. Get in, sit down, buckle up and hang on as you slam on the accelerator in a race against the clock. Zoom through the crowded streets and even down into the subway tunnels of New York City. A gang of terrorists has now stashed bombs throughout Manhattan and it's your job to diffuse them. Seek out more than 15 different vehicles (ranging from a Yugo to a garbage truck to an Italian sports car) to burn rubber and send pigeons flying. Blaze through accurately texture-mapped and fully rendered streets and passageways of Chinatown, Wall Street, Harlem -- even Central Park. Changing stop lights, gridlocked traffic, double-parked vans, NYPD squad cars and the crowds of pedestrians won't stop you in your quest to find the hidden bombs before they vaporize Manhattan. A locator device helps direct you toward the stashed detonators. Do you have the skill to find them all?

Fox Interactive's DIE HARD TRILOGY for Sony PlayStation is set to blast off retail shelves in August 1996, with the Sega Saturn and Windows 95 CD-ROM versions set to detonate in September. All versions carry an estimated shelf price of $54.98.
