SEGA GIVES 'EM A GOOD KICKING FIGHTERS MEGAMIX COMING TO SATURN

1st May, 1997

The mighty Saturn is set to host the mother of all battles with the launch of the eagerly awaited Fighters Megamix on 22nd May. Sega is bringing the awesome Virtua Fighters and Fighting Vipers head-to-head for the biggest grudge match in 32-bit history.

The AM2 development team has brought Sega's top two fighting teams together to give gamers the best ever beat-'em-up action yet. Eleven characters from Virtua Fighter 2 are lined up to face eleven challengers from Fighting Vipers. The game features an additional ten hidden characters to give an unbeatable 32 fighter battle bonanza.

Fighters Megamix includes the console debut of many special moves from Virtua Fighter 3 including the ground-breaking 'escape' and 'dodge' manoeuvres.

"Sega is Tekken on all comers with Fighters Megamix. We have put our best beat-'em-up characters into a single game and included the special moves from Virtua Fighter 3 to give gamers the biggest fighting title ever," comments Jo Bladen, Sega's Marketing Director.
