SAN FRANCISCO – (July 20, 2000) – In 1997, Ubi Soft® Entertainment unleashed a contagion on the planet, more communicable than the common cold: POD, a multi-player online racing experience. Releasing October 2000, the thrill ride has returned, with POD II for Sega Dreamcast™, that features online multi-player capabilities via SegaNet™, the only high-speed online console gaming network.
