AIA USA, LTD. MAKES DEBUT WITH ILLBLEED FOR DREAMCAST

APRIL 1, 2001 - There’s a new kid on the block in video game publishing. AIA USA, Ltd. opened its doors on April 1st and hits the ground running with Illbleed, a critically acclaimed, highly-anticipated new release for the Sega Dreamcast that hits store shelves in April.

Ellen Fuog, the new company’s president, announced that AIA USA, Ltd. will publish games for popular game consoles such as Sony’s PS2 and Microsoft’s X-Box. A PS2 title follows Illbleed later this year.

“There’s no business more fun to be in than the business of providing fun, and our goal is to reflect that in our products and give game players the experiences that they crave - and deserve for their money,” says Fuog, who has been in the business since its infancy. Fuog has experienced the industry’s ups and downs since the late 1970’s, having held high-level, executive positions with WICO, Kaneko, and, most recently, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Jaleco USA. Fuog also owned and operated her own sales rep firm for many years, representing many video game publishers and manufacturers of game industry-related products.

“Having been through it all – good times and bad – really helps. We have a great opportunity with AIA USA, Ltd. We’re building something new, with personality and experience. The end result will be great products, and we’re off to a flying start with an A+ game in Illbleed.”

“Taking part in the making of games should be as much fun as it is hard work,” says Ken Gratz, AIA USA, Ltd.’s Director of Development. “AIA USA, Ltd. is a labor of love. We’re passionate about what we’re doing. Check out Illbleed and I think you’ll see that.”
