SEGA to develop game content for Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck

Tokyo - (February 5, 2003) - Sega Corporation (Headquarter: Tokyo, Japan; President: Hideki Sato) announced today it is developing high quality branded game content for the Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck.

The Nokia N-Gage provides a mobile multiplayer platform and this will expand the game experiences, including wireless multiplayer games via Bluetooth, and interactive games by network.

Sega is currently developing titles for N-Gage such as Sonic N, Super Monkey Ball, Puyo-Puyo, Virtua Tennis, and SEGA RALLY (all are working titles) for the Nokia N-Gage and will develop additional titles maximizing both the N-Gage's innovative functions and Sega's technology. The above titles are to be displayed at the Nokia event in London (U.K.) on February 5,2003, and Sydney (Australia) on February 6, 2003.

Sega is promoting a multi-platform strategy to supply our contents to all type of hardware globally. Sega considers the Nokia N-Gage is worth that much to leverage Sega's network technology and operational knowledge. Sega will make positive efforts to continuously develop contents for the Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck.
