DreamWorks SKG Founders and Top Hollywood Celebrities Expected to Attend

When: Saturday, May 10; 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: GameWorks(TM) Las Vegas - Located at The Showcase 3785 Las Vegas Boulevard South (adjacent to MGM Grand and across from New York-New York).

What: The grand opening celebration for GameWorks Las Vegas. Developed by DreamWorks SKG, Sega Enterprises, Universal Studios, GameWorks is a new entertainment experience, offering people the best technology, games and social interaction in a unique club environment. The GameWorks concept and environment were developed by a design team under the visionary guidance of Steven Spielberg.

GameWorks' main areas include the Loading Dock, a competitive zone where guests can put the newest games to the test; the Arena, a high-energy area that features GameWorks' signature and multi-player games; and the Loft, a relaxing environment offering a variety of classic video games, traditional games and Internet activities, as well as food and beverages.

GameWorks Las Vegas also features the world's tallest free-standing rock climbing structure -- 75 feet high. Additional details on the event are expected to be announced next week.
