Soccer World is an unreleased football game for the Sega Mega-CD.
Sega briefly advertised its existence with a release date of April 1995 in North America, but no screenshots or gameplay footage has ever surfaced. Given its proposed late release for the Mega-CD, it might have been cancelled due to the release of the Sega Saturn, or perhaps became a different product entirely.
Sega claimed Soccer World was the first football game for the Mega-CD in North America (although this is untrue, as both Championship Soccer '94 and FIFA International Soccer: Championship Edition were released in 1994), with full outdoor 11x11 matches and 6x6 indoor matches. It would have included "match", "league", "tournament" and "shoot-out" modes and "CD graphics and sounds".
