St. Michel Productions was a Canadian video production company, notable for collaborating with Sega of America on the production of three promotional VHS tapes: Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 1 and Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 2[1] (for the advertising campaign Kids Go HoJo with Sega), and Lunchables Sega Game Tips Video (for an Oscar Mayer Foods promotion.)

One of the company's most well-remembered works, and the one most associated with the Kids Go HoJo with Sega campaign today, is the series of 1995 promotional VHS tapes Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 1 and Sega Game Gear Tips Volume 2. Available for guests and their children as a free rental, each tape features a series of different tips for the chain's available Sega Game Gear games, are are both built around the same main video - an extended advertisement where a Howard Johnson's spokesperson promotes both the Game Gear and the hotel's amenities. Unfortunately, the high-energy and erratic editing style used (while common for the era) has aged notably poorly, and the unflattering association with the now lesser-known hotel chain is often the only exposure that many have to the name Howard Johnson's.
