Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing is an updated version of the Japanese motorbike racing game, Redline Racer . It was released for the Sega Dreamcast exclusively in Western territories in November 1999.
While the core concept is shared between Redline Racer and Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing , the latter not only has a licence from motorbike manufacturer Suzuki Motor Corporation , but graphics and audio were replaced, handling was tweaked and bugs and issues identified in Japanese game were fixed. Japan would never receive this version of the game.
Between its Japanese and western incarnations the game was temporarily known as Suzuki Alstare Redline Racing .
