Garou Densetsu 3: Road to the Final Victory

Playable boss characters
Has anybody gotten the cheat code to play as the boss characters to work in this version of the game? I have a saved game where both Chonshu and Chonrei were fought and defeated, but this code doesn't do anything for me (including no "bing" or "bong" to confirm correct or incorrect entry).
