The Sega Virtua Processor
It should be noted that the stock SVP code on the DSP does not do any lighting or texture mapping at all. All "lighting/shadows" and "textures" are just made up of additional polygons. Each polygon only ever gets 2 palette entry IDs that get dithered together. The polygon rendering speed calculations also seem very dubious and should be properly tested some time, though getting that tested would definitely take some work. There's also no evidence of the SVP having PWM audio. The audio pins on the cartridge for Virtua Racing aren't even connected to anything! ---Ralakimus (talk) 19:46, 16 July 2020 (EDT)
